Coach International Team Packs 3,400 Pounds of Pasta for Families in Need

The Coach International (CI) team recently travelled to the Bronx to join Food Bank for New York City to pack food for families in need. For over 30 years, the Food Bank for New York City has distributed free food to those in need and now serves over 1.5 million New Yorkers every year. During their Service Day, the CI team packed 3,400 pounds of pasta to give to 2,000 families across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

We caught up with some of the team members to hear about the day:

“I enjoyed the quality time spent with my team outside the office. It was really nice to see everyone so open with each other and all the laughs and smiles exchanged. Together, we were able to feed a lot of families in need! I think we all felt great knowing that we made a difference.”
- Sr. Analyst, CI Operations

“I think it's important to volunteer as a company because it promotes cohesion and team-building in a more recreational setting. At the end of the day, we are still working together to achieve the same objective in the most efficient way possible. It's because we worked together as a team that we were able to package enough food in one day to feed over two thousand families!”
- Sr. Analyst, CI Sales Planning

As an added bonus, the Coach Foundation also made a contribution to the Food Bank following the event.
