The Coach Empire Carryall 40 in Merlot is absolutely gorgeous. The Merlot color is rich, deep, and luxurious—the perfect shade for fall and winter, but honestly beautiful enough to carry year-round. It gives the bag such a sophisticated, elevated look.
It's a large, substantial bag without feeling overwhelming, and there is plenty of room for everything I need. The leather is beautiful and has that quality, classic Coach feel that I love. The structured shape combined with the longer handles gives it such a timeless look.
The hardware against the Merlot leather is stunning and adds just the right amount of detail without taking away from the bag itself. This is one of those bags that doesn't need a lot of accessories—the leather, color, and silhouette make the statement.
I have several Coach bags in my collection. he Empire 40 brings something completely different. It's elegant, functional, and has that slightly vintage, understated luxury feel that Coach does so well.
The Merlot is what really sold me. It's absolutely beautiful in person. I'm so happy I added this one to my collection.
